Wedding photography in Paris / Paris wedding photographer

We all know that Paris is the city of Love and most of us would the thrilled to be whizzed away on a romantic weekend there. But being whizzed away to be married in the city of Love is a romantic experience on a different level.
Having lived in Paris for a month and having visited this beautiful city many times I was more than excited to have the opportunity of be a wedding photographer in Paris. I always look forward to shooting a destination wedding, especially South of France wedding photography or Italy wedding photography which are my two favourite wedding destinations, but I literary couldn’t wait till the day of this wedding photography in Paris for Taisia and Antonello.
When I do a destination wedding photography I always fly to the location a day or two before the wedding so I can check the church and the wedding venue and get some ideas on where I would do the wedding photography. However in this case I decided to treat myself and to spend almost a week in Paris before this destination wedding photography.
Taisia and Antonello who are originally from Sicily have visited Paris once before and not surprisingly have fallen in love with the city and decided to get married there. Organizing a destination wedding in Paris is not easy and it is certainly recommended to hire a professional wedding planner in Paris. Daniela from All World Weddings (www. allworldweddings.com) is an Italian wedding planner who specializes in destination weddings in the Caribbean (especially destination weddings in Antigua) and Italy. However having worked in the industry for many years she has experience in organizing  destination wedding in France and other European countries. Taisia and Antonello have made a great choice by selecting her for their destination wedding in Paris and she did a brilliant job.
The wedding day started with rain and heavy clouds but by the time the wedding ceremony was over the sky was blue and the sun was shining. The wedding ceremony took place in the beautiful Catholic Church St. Julien le Pauvre which was just next to Notre Dame de Paris. You couldn’t have asked for a better location for wedding photography in Paris – the church had a lovely garden where we did the family wedding portraits and Notre Dame de Paris provided a beautiful background drop.
Following the family portraits we went for a walk with Taisia and Antonello for some more romantic wedding photos at Notre Dame de Paris – the icon of Paris wedding photography. Thereafter the wedding reception and dinner took place on a cruise boat which took Taisia and Antonello and their family and friends on a beautiful ride along the river Siena. They savoured their delicious wedding dinner while enjoying the beauty of Paris. The highlight of the evening however was to stop for some more wedding photography at the Eiffel Tower. And the timing was just perfect – as the Eiffel Tower lights got turned on. No wedding photography in Paris is complete without the Eiffel Tower.
I was really sad when the wedding day was towards its end. Taisia and Antonello were a lovely couple and their friends and family were a lot of fun and they made sure I was feeling part of the party. The end of the day of this wedding in Paris was also the end of my stay in Paris as I had to take the Eurostar to get back to London where I had a wedding photography in London the next day. This wedding photography in Paris was indeed worth all the time I waited since the couple booked me but I hope it would be one of the many jobs as a wedding photographer in Paris.

Destination wedding photography French Riviera / South of France wedding photographer

When Sabine from the luxury wedding planning agency Avalon Event Organization (www.avaloneventsorganisation.com) first approached me with an enquiry about this destination wedding photography in South of France I didn’t expect I was in for such a treat. What was originally supposed to be one evening event photography in Monaco turned into a three day high end wedding photography between Switzerland and the French Riviera.
Both P and T have been married before so for them this second wedding was not so much about the perfect dress and the perfect ceremony as it was about the perfect party with their closest friends and family. Nevertheless with the creativity of P and the help from the Monaco wedding planner Sabine everything was more than perfect.
The three day wedding celebration started in Zurich where P&T held an intimate civil ceremony surrounded by their immediate family members. I was honoured to be flown as a destination wedding photographer in Zurich to photograph this beautiful moment of their lives. After a lovely and delicious lunch the whole family flew and made their way to the villa. When I first set my eyes on the villa I remained speechless. It was not the first time I’ve been in a private villa in South of France but this one had the extra ‘wow’ factor and I loved the modern minimalistic feel it had not to mention the gorgeous view of Cot d’Azur.
For the wedding reception the next day the villa looked even more stunning with the beautiful flower decorations and table arrangements which perfectly matched the style of the villa. It is always a pleasure to work on destination wedding photography in the French Riviera with the vivid colours of the amazing blue waters of Cot d’Azur but this destination wedding photography in South of France was just another level. Everywhere I looked there was a beautiful shot to be captured.
P&T didn’t want many wedding photos of themselves so we spent just a few moments of taking some photos by the pool but I personally love these shots. But with a beautiful bride like P it’s hard to take a bad photo. And she has the most beautiful and natural smile ever.
P&T made their way out of the house before their guests arrived as they had a grand entrance by arriving in a helicopter which landed at the bottom of their garden. And what an entrance it was! It was followed by a romantic serenade of the lovely French band. From then on the party started with full throttle with lots of dancing and even the elderly guests were on the dance floor. By 1am the guests had to replenish their energy with a bowl of warm soup in order to continue the party for a few more hours.
After more than 12 hour working day at this South of France wedding photography job I was certainly tired but I can say this was the most enjoyable destination wedding photography in South of France that I have photographed.
